Sculpture Workshop

The sculpture workshop caters for both beginners and the more advanced participants and are held in our hotel gardens in June and September. Use is made of marble of various colours, for instance the well-known grey and red Parnon marble and the pure white Tassos.

The workshops The workshops are held 5 days a week. At the weekend participants are free to do what they like . If they wish they can carry on with their project on their own. During the workshop much attention is paid to form and technique. When your sculpture is completed, you can polish it by the sea.

To ensure your comfortable welcome to sunny Greece, you will find a member of our staff in the arrival hall in Athens. He/she will be holding a board bearing the words "Miniati" or "Creativeholidays" and he/she will guide you to our tour-bus which will take you to our hotel in Kantia. On the way we make a stop at the famous Corinth Canal. You arrive at our hotel at about nine o'clock in the evening. After freshening up in your apartment, you will we serve a drink and a light meal. You will also meet our team and your workshop tutor.

The workshop starts at 9.30 a.m., after breakfast. From our stock of marble blocks you can choose the piece on which you would like to work. The subject and the speed at which you want to work is left to you. Ruud Fronik or Leen Kessels, our sculpture tutors, will give you individual advice as to how to realise your desired result. All necessary tools are supplied.

Every participant has a private apartment. If you come with a companion, you can share the apartment and there is a discount.
