Painting workshop
To ensure your comfortable welcome to sun-soaked Greece in the arrival hall in Athens you will find a member of our staff.. He/she will be holding a board bearing the words "Griekenland aan zee" and he/she will guide you to our tour-bus which will take you to our hotel in Kantia. On the way we make a stop at the famous Corinth Canal .
You arrive at our hotel at about nine o'clock in the evening. After you have freshened up in your apartment, we serve a drink and a meal. You will then also meet the members of our team and your workshop tutor, Alkistis Kelesidis.
The workshop is held in the hotel gardens as well as in various other locations such as the beach, the surrounding area as well as on the hotel terrace. Some workshop guests also may choose to work in the nearby fishing-village of Vivari or in the Venician town of Naflion.
Depending on the plan for the day and the chosen themes, use will be made of many different materials and techniques, such as oil paint, aquarell, chalk or ink. Participants can choose which techniques and materials they would like to work with.
The workshops are held for five days a week and start at 9 a.m, after breakfast. All necesssary materials will be provided and is all included in the price of the arrrangement. Experience is not necessary and participants will be tutored on an individual basis.
Every participant has his/her own apartment. If you come with a companion you can share the apartment and receive a discount.

Workshop including
- Round trip flight from Amsterdam to Athens (if applicable) by Olympic Airlines
- Booking fees, airport taxes and various surcharges
- Transfer caried out by our own service from the airport to the hotel in Kantia v.v.
- Private apartment for each participant (discounts are offered for sharing an apartment with a fellow traveler)
- Breakfast, lunch (sandwiches buffet) and Mediterranean dinners provided by our own chefs (except the dinner on Friday).
- Wine and mineral water during dinner
- 1 x per week a Greek dinner with live music
- 1 x per week dinner in Nauplion
- Visit to the marble quarry and marble factory (workshops in sculpture and mosaic)
- The workshop includes all the necessary materials and the use of tools
- Transport of your workpiece to the Netherlands. (If applicable)
- Final exhibition in Amsterdam; then your work can be taken home with you (If applicable).
