Workshop
Facilities for sculptors who do not wish to participate in sculpting classes or workshops.
This arrangement is intended for more experienced or advanced sculptors, and provides work-space, stone and everything else necessary to work independantly.
Advice can be given about the choice and ordering of the stone with which you wish to work.
You can order a block of marble to be cut to size or you can choose a piece from our available stock.
If you so desire, we could arrange for you to work at a marble-processing factory and/or enable you to use machine tools.
If you are a sculptor and/or sculpture teacher and you would like to visit us with a group of your own, please contact us for more details concerning travel, transfers, accommodation and catering.
Period
- from Saturday. May 30 till Saturday. June 27, 2009
- from Saturday. Sept. 5. till Saturday. Oct. 3. 2009
- Round trip flight from Amsterdam to Athens (if applicable) by Olympic Airlines
- Booking fees, airport taxes and various surcharges
- Transfer caried out by our own service from the airport to the hotel in Kantia v.v.
- Private apartment for each participant (discounts are offered for sharing an apartment with a fellow traveler)
- Breakfast, lunch (sandwiches buffet) and Mediterranean dinners provided by our own chefs (except the dinner on Friday).
- Wine and mineral water during dinner
- 1 x per week a Greek dinner with live music
- 1 x per week dinner in Nauplion
- Visit to the marble quarry and marble factory (workshops in sculpture and mosaic)
- We can provide blocks of marble to your own demands at reasonable prices.
- Included are the use of tools
- Transport of your sculpture can be arranged
