Glass & Mosaics Jewellery workshop

In september Hella Steins is giving a one-week Glass and Mosaics Jewellery Workshop in Greece.

This workshoip is specially suited to anyone who would like to combine a lovely holiday with a creative experience . You will take home a lovely and novel souvenir of your stay in Greece.

The price of this workshop includes the flights to Athens, your apartment and the transfers to and from Kantia and, naturally, the workshop and all the materials you will be usiing. All meals in our hotel will be provided by "Sterren van de Hemel" Catering.

During the workshop you will use coloured and mirror-glass to make items of mosaic-jewellery, a decorative panel or a glass vase. First of all you will naturally need to learn all about the materials, the basics and the tools you will be using.
You will learn and practice the cut, chip and grinding techniques.

The workshop will be held on five morning sessions in the period from 5 -12 september 2009 . During the afternoons you are free to carry on working alone or you can choose to go to the beach or make a trip to a place of interest.

It is, of course, possible to combine this workshop with an extra week Marble Mosaics or simply with a further stay in our hotel.

Round trip flight from Amsterdam to Athens (if applicable) by Olympic Airlines
Booking fees, airport taxes and various surcharges
Transfer caried out by our own service from the airport to the hotel in Kantia v.v.
Private apartment for each participant (discounts are offered for sharing an apartment with a fellow traveler)
Breakfast, lunch (sandwiches buffet) and Mediterranean dinners provided by our own chefs (except the dinner on Friday).

Visit to the marble quarry and marble factory (workshops in sculpture and mosaic)
